How to reach Banbasa?

Banbasa is a small town that is located in the Uttrakhand state on the Indian side of the border. Taking a bus to reach here is one of the best ways. To reach Banbasa you have to reach first Bariely in Uttar Pradesh and you can reach Bariely by taking a bus from Chandigarh bus stand. After reaching Braiely you have to take an auto- rickshaw or bus to the Satellite bus station.

You can take a direct bus to Tanakpur from Chandigarh. And you have got a different possibility that when reaching  the Satellite Bus Station then you will take a bus to Tanakpur or the other bus that will make a stoppage at Banbasa. After reaching Banbasa?

Banbasa is a small border town in Uttrakhand, India. There are not many places to see so no reason to stay at this place. Once your reach Banbasa then you should ask  for directions towards Mahendranage and then walk straight into a big gate and then continue walking. This electric vehicle will take you to the India- Nepal border near the blue bridge but do not forget to bargain the rate. On your way your, electric vehicle driver will stop for a security check at the immigration office.

All travelers except Nepali and Indian citizens should make sure to get the exit stamp on the Indian side. Once the driver makes the final stop then you can take a short walk towards Nepal.

After reaching Gaddachowki you head straight toward the Nepal immigration office that is located on the left side to complete your visa process. After this, you have to make sure that they stamped your passport.
