Visit Castillo de San Marcos

Ponce de Leon’s Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park
This 5-acre park along the Matanzas River that is named for the explorer’s famed freshwater spring. Some parts of a replica village were constructed on the original site including a home and meeting house. This place is home to the First Mission of Nombre de Dios originally built in 1587 by Franciscan Friars.
