Morni Hills is just an hour’s drive away from the city of Chandigarh, and it is easily accessible via roadways buses, private taxis, and cabs. Tikkar Taal is an adventure park located just before the steep 7 km climb to Morni, which is renovated recently. Tikkar Taal is around 55 km far from Chandigarh, is set up by Haryana Tourism in 2004. Tikkar Tall is around 4 degrees C less than Chandigarh. This adventure park is set up to promote adventure tourism in Shivalik Hills. After being renovated, now it has climbing nets, a small zip line, vertical ropes to walk, and a catwalk.
There is also a bouldering and rappelling area, a rock-climbing area in this adventurous park. There is also a cafeteria with a limited menu of snacks like biscuits, chips, and cold drinks, etc. For the people who are not so adventurous, this park has- a treehouse, a spooky house, water features, a maze, and a park for the children having slides and swings. The fee to enter the park is 50 Rs for adults and 30 Rs for a child.

Morni Hills situated at the height of 1200mts above sea level, so winter is quite cold and chilly out there. And it is in the lower hills of the Himalayan so the summers are way hot there. So, the best time to go there is winters which begin in the month of October every year. The weather stays nicely pleasant with the little cold out there until the month of April. Summers visits are not recommendable since the summers are way too hot. But I advised you to carry sunscreens and to drink lots of water then nothing will go to stop you from embracing the calmness of Morni Hills.

- When you are going to visit the adventure park remember to carry some snacks, cold drinks, etc. because there are not many options for food present there.
- The descent back from Morni hills is a bit steep, so not try to go there after dark and try to avoid being there in a fog because fog can cut the visibility.
- Avoid driving yourself in the fog because it might be tough to drive in because fay may hinder your vision in the way.
- Remember to pack some warm clothes like sweaters, jackets as the night and early morning get cold.
- Remember to take safety gear and follow the maps properly as the place is not much crowded.
